Warm & Wonderful Neighbors...

So I'm extremely late getting into the "Pinterest" craze.  I signed up months ago to see what the hype was all about and honestly, I hated it.  I think I went on a handful of times and logged off about as quickly as I signed on, it just didn't appeal to me.  Well, last week I went back to it and stopped searching for "card" and "crafty" stuff...just browsed.  What got me hooked???  The "fashion finds".  What woman doesn't love clothes, right?  Well I just love when people do the outfit collages, I really enjoy seeing how other people put clothes together, it gets me creative within my own closet and I love to refind items I forgot I had=)  My daughter who also wasn't sold on Pinterest is now hooked as well...thanks Pinterest???
Anyhow...a few weeks ago my friend Kat made some beautiful bows out of ribbon for a craft fair that I fell in love with, but thought wow, those look time consuming and complicated to make!  She told me I could make them, that they were easy, ha!  Well, while just browsing Pinterest during one of my insomnia nights I came across a bow tutorial...and she was right, they were easy!  So here's to my first "Pinterest Project"...

I made my neighbors Chocolate Covered Salted Caramels for Christmas and put them in these gift bags I made (I forgot to take a picture of them filled).  I followed the pinterest tutorial for the bows (which I had to laugh...the name of the person's blog is "How About Orange" ~love it!~).  I used EP Winter Wishes to make my bow instead of an old magazine and had to modify it just a bit, thick DSP isn't as giving as magazine paper.  Pale Plum, SU Border Punch, Marvy Snowflake Punch, Button, SU Baker's Twine, SU Corner Punch, and Sentiment from SU Four the Holidays.  This will be one of my entries for the EP FB Winter Wishes Project Challenge.  So, what do you think...how'd I do for my first Pinterest Project?

Thank-you for stopping by.
Have a great night!
