Wishing You a Speedy Recovery...

Happy Saturday Everyone!  If you haven't heard, Kim with My Favorite Things Stamps is closing her doors.  I can't tell you how sad this makes me feel.  My Favorite Things has been my favorite stamp company for the last 15+ years.  I just adored all the Pure Innocence images and loved all the creative die-namics that were available.  I had always hoped to one day visit her beautiful store front one day.  I hate to see her shut her doors, but understand how difficult business had been for many small business owners over the last 5 years.  My heart breaks for her to have to say goodbye to her company, but I look forward to hearing about her next chapter in life.

Onto my card...
For a dear friend of mine who crashed during El Tour de Tucson.
Wishing You a Speedy Recovery...
I used SC826 for my layout.  My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Better Get Better, stamping her in memento ink, coloring her with copics.  My Favorite Things Wonky Stitch die-namics, My Minds Eye Sunnyside Paper, and the ribbon is from Stampin' Up.

Thanks so much for having a look!

Get Well My Friends...

For two of my friends that needed some cheering up.  Wishing both of them a speedy recovery and hope that they are back on their bikes soon!!!
Get Well My Friends...
This was my take on the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge, MFTWSC680.  I used My Favorite Things Transform-ables Heart Full of Love die-namics in Real Red.  MFT Bandaids die-namics in Creamy Caramel, White, and Real Red.  MFT Essential Stitched Sentiment die-namics in White and Black.  Sentiment is from the MFT Pure Innocence Best Medicine stamp set.

Laughter is the best Medicine...

One of my hubs troops was admitted into the hospital on Thanksgiving Day=(  Thankfully he went to the ER...his appendix had ruptured a couple of days earlier.  They put in stints and in about 6 weeks he'll have to have his appendix removed.  Poor guy is still in the hospital so I wanted to make him a card to lift his spirits.
My card is CAS (clean and simple).  I used my Scor-Pal for the first time today to make the lines at the bottom and right side of my card.  I think there's a learning curve to using it, lol!  I colored the lil' Doctor in with Copics on Neenah Cardstock, layering him on Night of Navy.  Both stamps are from A Muse.  The ribbon and button are from Denami Design.
I hope ya'll have a great week!
