Flying by to say Hi...

I never seem to have enough cards that I can send to people to let them know I'm thinking of them.  "Hi" is the perfect sentiment for that occassion so I'm trying to build up my stash of cards that say just that=)  I made this for the Denami Design Color Challenge #8, Chocolate, Sky Blue, Kraft, and Amethyst.  I stamped the F183 Double Circle in Momento Ink then stamped the D118 Airplane Chickie inside of the Double Circle, coloring with my Copics.  I went over the airplane with Smooch.  I stamped the sentiment with Justrite Stampers inside the F180 Thought Bubble, cutting it out then popping it up on pop dots.  Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, MME Lime Twist paper, SU Scallop Punch, Baja Breeze, Lovely Lilac Marker, Denami Design Buttons.
I hope ya'll had a great weekend.  My daughter and I took the grandboys to see Cars 2, such a cute movie!  The rest of my weekend was spent taking care of the grandboys, swimming in the pool, and I actually got some card making in, yay!  Thank-you for stopping by!

Birthday Wishes for my FIL...

My Father-in-law's Birthday is coming up and I'm actually going to be getting this to him early (or at least on time, ha!)
This week's Bellarific Friday Challenge is a sketch.  I flipped it on it's side.  I was RAK'ed Grillafella from my friend Shannon.  She sent me a box of images from the Bella Yahoo Group we had long ago, thanks Shannon!  I colored him in with Copics.  More Mustard, Baja Breeze, Basic Gray, MME Stella Rose "Hattie" Paper, Velvet Ribbon.
Thanks so much for your support and prayers for my brother.  As I type this, he "should" be home from the hospital now=)  Have a fabulous weekend!

Lemonade???...

This week's Bellarific Friday Challenge was Summer.  I made this for my sister who could use a pick me up. Our brother is back in ICU.  He's having some complications from surgery for bladder cancer.  Unfortunately everything has fallen on my sister all at once=(
Anyhow, I stamped Elizabeth Lulu on Neenah with Momento Ink, coloring her with copics.  I added Smooch to the Lemonade sign, lace trim, and flowers in her hair.  Rose Romance and BG Lemonade paper, MS Punch, Doily, Nesties, and Denami Design Ribbon.  Inside says, (Viva Las Vegas Stamps) " If life gives you lemons, squeeze the juice into a water gun and shoot other people in the eyes."...she needed a laugh=)
I used this month's SFYTT.

Thank-you for stopping by.  Have a great weekend.

Altered Sticker Rolls...

We've been working on a project for some time at my work...taking off all the stickers that come on rolls and packaging them into clear hanging envelopes.  It has been a big task, but will be worth it in the end.  One of our customers asked what I was going to do with the empty rolls.  I said, "nothing, throw them away?"  She says, "oh, you can make a pen holder with them."  I thought, hmmm, that would look cute in my craft cave!  Thank-you Angela for the idea!
This is my entry for EP's current FB contest.  Upload projects to their fb page using their new release Dots & Stripes.  I painted the inside with Kaisercolour Eggshell Crafters Acrylic.  Then I cut out some bottoms from chipboard, glued them to the sticker rolls and let them set over night.  I used Dots & Stripes (Chocolate Small Dots) from Echo Park Paper.

Thank-you so much for stopping by, I hope ya'll had a great weekend.

Welcome to DMAFB...

I'd like to start off my post by asking all of you to say a prayer for my brother Tony.  As many of you know he has bladder cancer.  The cancer has spread and today he's having surgery to remove his bladder.  Thank-you to everyone for their love and support they've given me on FB.
Today marks 6 months that I've been working at Making Memories Unforgettable...where has the time gone?  I have met some of the most wonderful ladies working there.  I'd like to thank each of them for their support and for sharing their lives with me.  I've enjoy seeing their scrapbook pages and hearing the stories behind the pictures.  Thank-you ladies for a great 6 months!
Now finally on to my card!  We had a couple new spouses arrive and attend our spouse's meeting last week so I made each of them this card to welcome them.  This stamp is from Viva Las Vegas Stamps.  I bought it online when we got orders, with intent on making our moving cards with it...2 1/2 years later this is the first time it's seen ink!  I stamped my image with Momento Ink on Neenah coloring it in with my copics.  Sentiment from SU Warm Words and Denami Design Ribbon.
Thank-you for stopping by, for your love and support, and for all of your prayers.
