You Saved The Day...

I'm so blessed to have the most amazing best friends.  We had a new roof put on and our poor chihuahua, Jetta was freaking out over the noise.  We'd given her melatonin to calm her but it wasn't working.  So...she had a sleep over at our besties house.  I can't thank them enough!

You Saved The Day...

I used black and vanilla card stock, and basic gray paper.  I stamped Benji from Your Next Stamp on Neenah, coloring with Copics then fussy cutting it out, using pop dots for dimension.  I stamped the bone again, fussy cut it for another layer of dimension.  The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things You're Super stamp set.

TTG Mural Ride...

Once a month the Tucson Tri Girls hosts an all women's ride for cycling of all levels and abilities.  I'm one of the ride leaders for theier monthly ride.  This month we did something a little different.  We had one of our greatest supporters, Damion Alexander lead us on a Co-Ed Mural Ride of our beauiful city.  It was absolutely amazing.  He knew a bit of history of every mural.  Below are a few of my favorites from the day.

TTG Mural Ride...
At our rides we do a raffle prize.  I thought it would be nice to make a little card to go with each prize to thank the recipient for coming out to join us.  I took the TTG's Logo and had a custom made stamp, which I think turned out really well!  I used Basic Gray as my base, white, and Gorgeous Grape cardstock.  Gorgeous Grape ink and nestabilities.

TTG Mural Ride...
I loved the deep colors of this one.

TTG Mural Ride...
This is a small portion of the mural, it was a block long!

TTG Mural Ride...
 Hehe, gave me a giggle!

TTG Mural Ride...
This reminded me of my daughter, she use to play the violin.  The colors were so beautiful!

Coffee & Cycling, the Perfect Blend...

I'm a co-leader for a Tuesday Women's GABA ride.  One of the gals, Lissi that cycles with us bought all the ride leaders coffee and treats on our last ride with her.  I wanted to make her a card and thank her for her kindness.

Coffee & Cycling, the Perfect Blend...
I used one of my favorite stamps from Stamping Bella, Perk me up PEEPS.  Stamped the image in memento on neenah, coloring with copics.  I used the  Stampin' Up Canvas stamp in Crumb Cake and stamped it on Crumb Cake card stock, then paper pieced it to the coffee cup.  I did the same with the heart using Carta Bella Merry and Bright paper.  Real Red card stock as my base, layered with Carta Bella Merry and Bright paper as well.  The ribbon is from Stampin' Up.

Smile...

I made these for my friends/teammates who complemented me on the socks I was wearing with my cycling kit the other day.  I love to wear bright, fun, funky socks and always get complimented on them.  The ones I had on were black with red and yellow octopuses on them.  I bought them each a pair of the socks and made them a card to go with it.  Since I didn't have an octopus stamp...my new zebra stamp from My Favorite Things was the next best fill in.

Smile...
I used Black, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and white card stock.  Zippy Zebra and coordinating die-namic from My Favorite things.  I made the plaid with the triple line stamp from Denami Design.  Sentiment from the My Favorite Things Smile Maker set.  Smile die-namic was a freebie with purchase from MFT.  I popped the zebra on popdots for dimension.

Kindness is Natural to Nancy...

I was on the hunt for a shaker cup I was given a couple years ago from a nutrition class from Natural Grocers.  It's the most amazing shaker cup!  It has this little cup under the shaker cup that you can put your post workout powder in, it's a total game changer!  I wanted to find one to give to my friend and wasn't having any luck until I met this sweet lady Nancy at Natural Grocers.  We walked all over the store looking, and after I explained in detail what it was I was looking for, she realized she had an extra one and gave it to me!  It turned out she was the new nutritionist, just my luck!!!  To thank her for her kindness, I made her this card and will be dropping it off by her store tomorrow.

Kindness is Natural to Nancy...
I used this weeks SCS color challenge, CC773- Early Espresso, Balmy Blue (I didn't have any so I used Coastal Cabana), and So Saffron.  I used Stampin' Ups Mosian Madness and My favorite things Pretty Poppies sentiment.  Accessories- cuttlebug folder, mosiac madness punch and popdots.  I also used this weeks SCS sketch challenge SC783.

Thank you so much for looking.

Rosy Winter Blues...

One of my New Year's Goals is to stay on top of blogging my cards and uploading them to splitcoaststampers.  I got so far behind after I did RAGBRAI (rode my bike across Iowa) in July.  Fingers crossed I can do much better this year than last!  Anyhow, this is for my mother-in-law.  Her birthday is on Saturday.

Rosy Winter Blues...
Fifth Avenue Floral is probably my all time favorite stamp sets, as I love roses.  I'm not the best at coloring with blues so I thought I'd give it a go and make my mother-in-laws card with a blue rose.  Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green, Black and Neenah card stock.  My favorite things die-namics- Blueprints 1 and Royal Leaves.  Sentiment is from the $1 bin at Michael's.
