Welcome Col Palmieri...

A few days ago our new Commander, Col Palmieri arrived at DMAFB.  We had a Change of Command to welcome him and his family to Tucson and to our Squadron.  I made them this quick and simple card=)
I stamped the cactus from Ride em Cowgirl on Neenah, coloring with my Copics.  I stamped the pot from A Flower for All Seasons twice, popping both on gluedots, but only coloring one with Copics.  I shaded around the cactus and under the pot with Copics.  Denami Design Ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope ya'll had a great weekend!

Good Luck...

This month's SFYTT Challenge was a lot of fun, Jen Del Muro always does such a fabulous job with the sketches.  I used 4-Leaf Clover (I just love the Pure Innocence line from MFT!).  I stamped her on Neenah, with Momento Ink, coloring with my Copics.  I used a glaze pen on her shoes, heart, and 4-leaf clover.  Daffodil Delight and Echo Park Country Drive Paper.  Prima Flowers, Denami Design Button, and Twine.

Thank-you for stopping by, hope you enjoy your weekend!

Oh, and don't forget about my BLOGIVERSARY GIVEAWAY.

For Melissa...

I'm a little late in posting my Bellarific Friday Challenge.  I've had all sorts of computer issues the last couple of weeks=(  Hopefully all is fixed now!  Anyhow, this is for my friend Melissa who is battling Leukemia.  She's getting ready to go to Texas with her sister who will be a donor for her.  I saw Melissa today at a military function and I tell you what, that woman just amazes me!  She not only has Leukemia but has developed Sweets Syndrome which is a rare painful skin rash from the Leukemia.  Not to mention she just had surgery yesterday and was there today to see our new commander into the squadron.  She is such a strong and determined woman, I have absolute faith she will get through this!
Ok, now onto the card details for the Bellarific Friday Challenge which was a sketch challenge.  I changed mine up a bit.  I shifted sides for my sentiment and flower, used an oval for my image panel instead of a circle and stuck to the normal sized card instead of using a circle or a square, makes for easier mailing=)  I stamped Causabella in Momento in on Neenah, coloring with my Copics.  I used a gel pen on the ribbon, smooch on her shoes and flower and added a little rhinestone to her flower.  I used Maya Road Ribbon under the image panel.  Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Jillibean Soup Paper, Nesties, Stamping Bella Sentiment, Flower, Button, and Twine.

Thank-you for stopping by and don't forget about my BLOGIVERSARY GIVEAWAY!!!  Anyone can enter to win=)  Have a great day!

Katie's Baby Shower...

I made this for my boss Katie.  Her baby shower was earlier this week, and oh my heck...she had a fabulous shower held in her honor by a few of our wonderful customers- Karen, Sandra, and Debbie, and my co-workers- Alex, Karina, Kiera, and Jessica.  Also lots of help from Karen's daughter's Melissa and Mandy.  These ladies did a wonderful job with all the fun decorations and delicious food.  What an amazing and fun filled night it was for everyone!

For my card I used Cards Patterns 123, flipping it on it's side.  I stamped Teddybella in Momento Ink on Neenah, coloring with Copics.  I added some Smooch and a Gel Pen to highlight.  I used 1x1 squares, stamping the letters from a very old CTMH Set, I went around the edges with a glue pen, then sprinkled them with Glamour Dust.  SU Basic Gray, MME Lime Twist paper, Prima Flowers, Misc Button, Twine, Nestie, Pop Dots.
Have a wonderful weekend and thank-you for stopping by!

Happy Graduation...

Our friends son graduated last month.  It feels like yesterday we were stationed together in Germany and he was just a little guy...that was 11 years ago!  Time sure does fly!
I stamped the cap from Tassel Time  and didn't color, amazing, I know!  I mounted it on Lavender Lace then Black, BG Kioshi, SU Punches, Stamping Bella Sentiment, Maya Road Ribbon (reversed side), and Rhinestones.
Thank-you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Happy 4th of July...

I hope everyone is having a great 4th of July with their friends and family!  We'll be taking our daughter and grandboys to the base later today to celebrate the 4th=)
I made these simple little 3x3 notecards to go with the Patriotic Tins I put together for our neighbors.  I stamped the heart from Americana Collection (retired) in Momento ink on SU's precut notecards, coloring with my copics.  I highlighted with a glitter pen, stamped the sentiment then drew a border with a copic multiliner.
Here's a picture of the Patriotic Tins. Each tin had a star shaped pen, an American Flag, a note pad, red, white, and blue pencils, a chapstick, and some sweet stripes mints.

Have a Happy 4th of July and a great week!
