Webful of Thanks...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
I made this for one of the ladies in our spouse's group to thank her for putting together the Children's Halloween Party last week.  All her time, effort, and hard work is much appreciated!
I used Clean & Simple Stamping Sketch 164.  This is my first time playing along in their sketch challenge.  I stamped the spider from Web Wishes, coloring the hat with copics, I went over her with a glaze pen and a glitter pen over the candy bag.  I stamped the web in Going Grey then went over it with a glitter pen.  Sentiment from Much Appreciated.  Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black paper, SU punches...Clean & Simple=)
Have a Happy Halloween and please be safe tonight while you're out and about with your munchins.

Halloween Bark...

Thank-you Lowri for featuring your Halloween Bark on Echo Park's Blog.  It was the perfect treat to make for my Physical Therapists for Halloween=)
I like how these little tags for the treat bags turned out.  It's the first time I've made tags like thess.  I stamped Three Houses on Very Vanilla with Memento Ink.  I lined the inside of the house with my C0 copic then went over it with a glitter pen.  I outlined the house with a glaze pen and used stickles for the windows.  Prismacolor Pencils and OMS for the ground and highlights around the house.  Tim Holtz Distress Inks around the edges.  I stamped Friendly Ghost in Very Vanilla, used a glitter and glaze pen, cut him out and popped him up on pot dots.  Sentiment from Verve Stamps, Happy Fall.  I used a knotch punch for the top of the tag and a corner rounder at the bottom.  One inch circle punch and Denami Design Ribbon.

The Halloween Bark was simple to make.  You can take what ever ingredients you want to put in the bark, I chose black licorice and halloween sprinkles.  I cut up the black licorice into small pieces.

I took three boxes of Baker's White Chocolate Squares and microwaved it in a glass bowl for 1 minute.  I stirred the chocolate then microwaved for 30 seconds, stirred then microwaved for 10 more seconds.
I spread the melted chocolate in a wax paper lined 13x9 pan.
I sprinkled the black licorice over the melted chocolate.
Then I sprinkled the Halloween Sprinkles over the melted chocolate.
I put the chocolate in the refrigerator to harden.  Then broke them into pieces.
I had to give it a try before I gave it to my Physical Therapists tomorrow and it's actually pretty good.  But I happen to like white chocolate and black licorice...never thought I'd put the two together, but it is yummy!

Thank-you for stopping by.  Hope ya'll have a Happy Halloween tomorrow!

Girls just wanna have fun...

This is my entry for this month's SFYTT and the Bellarific Friday Challenge, which is to use stripes.  I recently got my order from Stamping Bella's New Release and have to say these Uptown Girls are one of my favorite releases!
I stamped Victoria and Juliette's Night Out in Memento Ink on Neenah, coloring with Copics and paper piecing one of the dresses.  I used stickles to trim their dresses, a glaze pen over their glass and stickles on the rim.  For the ground I used a prismacolor pencil and OMS.  Blush Blossoms, Basic Gray and Authentique Paper.  Die-namics, SU Basic Gray Ribbon, and SU Photo Corner Punch.  Sentiment came with Victoria and Juliette's Night Out.

Our grandboys had such a good time at the Halloween Party yesterday.  Wylie was very hesitant at the whole "Trick-or-Treating" idea.  With lots of coaching from my daughter he eventually got the idea and was saying, "Thank-you" more than "Trick-or-Treat".  Connor was just as sweet as can be.  Next year he'll be able to enjoy it more.

On a side note...on Tuesday my Ghost White Treat Bags were mentioned on Denami Design FB Page...it so made my day!  I gave the treats to the ladies yesterday at the Halloween Party and they loved them=)  It even lead to one of the ladies wanting to place an order with me...now talk about making my day!!!

Thank-you for stopping by, I hope you have a great weekend!

Mmm, Candy Corn...

So I have to admit I love candy corn!  I also really like taffy.  So you can imagine my delight when Halloween comes around and they have Candy Corn flavored Taffy, yum!  I was really good and only bought 2 bags to make some treats jars for my neighbors, only keeping a handful for myself.  Gasp, I don't know how I found the self control, but I did!
I made up 7 of these jars.  I stamped the Spider from Web Wishes in Memento Ink on Neenah.  I went over him with a glaze pen.  I used stickles for the Candy Corn.  Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, SU Silver Cord and Denami Design Ribbon.
My hubs work is having a Children's Halloween Party tomorrow.  I'm looking so forward to taking the grandboys.  Wylie's getting better at saying "Trick-or-Treat".  I think he'll have a good time and really enjoy Halloween this year.
Thank-you for stopping by!

Web Wishes...

I made these for some of my neighbors for Halloween=)
I got the tubes from my work (I'm so sad, they are closed now, I miss working there SO much!) and filled them with Goog-ly Eyes Chocolate.  I stamped the Spider from Web Wishes in Memento on Neenah, then made a mask for her hat and candy bag.  I stamped the Spider Web from Web Wishes in  Going Gray.  Colored the hat and candy bag with Copics then outlined the Spider with a glaze pen and went over the Spider Web with a glitter pen.  I took double sided tape around the top and bottom edge of the tubes and added ribbon.  I used SU's Small and Large Tag Punches then used a hole punch and ran my orange ribbon through it and tied it to the tube.
Thank-you for stopping by!

Ghost White...

I spent yesterday locked in my craft cave and sadly I didn't complete half the projects I wanted to.  I made 15 of these lil' treat toppers I for the ladies in my spouses group.
I started off with a Black base and a Pumpkin Pie layer.  I made the rosette using the Tim Holtz die, SU 1 3/8 punch and a big Denami Design Button.  I stamped Friendly Ghost in Memento Ink on Neenah, "in-lining" with C0 then "outlining" with a Quickie Glue Pen and sprinkling it with Glamour Dust.  I cut Friendly Ghost out and stuck him onto the rosette.  Then I stamped Three Winter Trees on my Pumpkin Pie layer.  I made my tag using a 1 inch strip of cardstock, stamping my sentiment (Happy Fall by Verve Stamps, can't seem to get to their webpage right now to link it up) and a SU Photo Corner Punch.  Three little Ghost Peeps fit perfectly into my cello bags, I did have to cut some of the top off tho.

My oldest grandson Wylie loves to come in my cave and hang out with me while I craft.  Yesterday was absolute torture for him=(  All day long he stared at these lil' Ghost Peeps and said, "I hungry...I hungry...I hungry..." then he'd look and me and point to them and say, "I hungry Mommom".  Poor lil' guy=(
Thank-you for stopping by, I hope you all have a great week!

Denami Design World Card Making Day Challenge...

I made this for Denami Design World Card Making Day Challenge, it was an inspiration challenge.  Mine wasn't picked to be featured in their newsletter=( but, there was some fabulous cards that were!
I started off with a Crumb Cake card base.  I used the Double Line Square, filling in the lines with my Quickie Glue Pen and glitter. I used the Wheat Stalks in the center of the Double Line Square Stamp, stamping first in Memento Rich Cocoa, then SU More Mustard twice- once on each side. I made a tag using SU Photo Corner Punch, stamping the sentiment Give Thanks from the Thanksgiving Chickie Set then I used my Quickie Glue Pen around the edges and added glitter to them.  I popped that panel up on pop dots. Denami Design Button, SU jute and Denami Design Ribbon.
I hope you've had a great weekend!  Our neighborhood block party yesterday, it was our first time going.  We enjoyed it and got to meet a couple neighbors we didn't know.  I've spent the rest of the weekend crafting...those are the best weekends=)  Thanks for stopping by!

The Mummy, The Witch, and The Pirate...

Sorry I've been MIA.  I went to CA for my brother's memorial service.  I'm very thankful to my hubs for taking the time off of work to take care of our grandboys so that I was able to make the trip out for the memorial service.
Anyhow, I made this for my oldest grandson, Wylie (he's 2 1/2 yrs).  He's going to be a Pirate for Halloween.  All this week we've been working with him to say, "Trick or Treat" and of course all Pirates have to know how to say "Arrrgh"=)
This is also my entry for this week's Bellarific Friday Challenge which is a sketch challenge.  I used The Mummy, The Witch, and The Pirate by Christy Croll.  I stamped my image on Neenah with Memento Ink, coloring with Copics, highlighting with a glaze pen and Smooch.  Crumb Cake, Black, and Echo Park Apothecary Paper, SU Punches, Denami Design Ribbbon and Buttons, Sentiment by Lockhart Stamp Co.

Thank-you so much for stopping by.  Have a great weekend!

Just a Note...

I'm a few days late with my Bellarific Friday post, tho I got it emailed to Em on time for her blog post, I needed some down time before I made mine=(  I had a death in the family...my brother passed away from bladder cancer.  He put up such a good fight and honestly it came as a shock to us as we thought he had turned around for the best.  Please keep his wife and two sons in your prayers.
Ok...on to my card.  For this weeks Bellarific Friday Challege we were to "pop it up".  I stamped Musicabella on Neenah with Momento Ink, coloring with Copics.  I used Enamel Accents on the music notes, stamping the one on the right twice, cutting it out and popping it up with some ATG rolled taped.  I outlined her dress with a glitter pen, went over her hair with a glaze pen, and used the glitter pen to make pearls for her neckalce.  Melon Mambo, Basic Gray, EP Be Mine Papers and Rosette Ribbon.  I popped the image panel on pop dots.  Nesties, Rhinestone, Memory Box Sentiment, then popped that panel on pop dots as well.  For my layout I used SSSC136, but I didn't get around to posting before the deadline=(
I hope ya'll had a wonderful World Card Making Day!  Thanks for stopping by!
