Happy Birthday Wylie...

Happy birthday to the one that made me a grandmother and gave me the name, "Mommom".  I can't believe our oldest grandson is 14, which also means we've been grandparents for 14 years!!!  Craziness!  Wylie is so kind, caring, and thoughtful.  He is just finishing up his basketball season and thinking of taking up either track and field or football.  We are so proud of him for not being afraid to step out of his comfort zone and try new things!
Happy Birthday Wylie...
Wylie's favorite color is blue and his favorite football team is the Broncos.  So, I always have to use blue and orange when I make his cards.  I used Blue Beyond, Boysenberry, Pacific Point, Orange Zest, and Only Orange card stock with the Ride the Waves die-namics from My Favorite Things.  Black with the Headphones die-namics from My Favorite Things.  I stamped my sentiment from Wavy Greetings in black, also from My Favorite Things.  Finished off the card with black twine and black and white splatters.
Happy Birthday Wylie...

Winter Birthday Song...

A birthday card for my dear friend and fellow cyclist, Delia.  Delia's such a sweet and kind soul.  So thankful to have met her and get to cycle with her each week while she's in town.

I bought the Winter Songbird stamp set/die-namics because of this beautiful card by Barbara Anders.  I ran my main panel through the die cut machine using my new Blanket Stitched Rectangle die my bestie got me for Christmas.  I sponged Ranger Adirondack Light Aqua and Versamagic Sea Breeze Chalk Ink.  Then I stamped my images in Memento ink on Neenah and die cut them.  I colored them with Copics and positioned them on my panel.  Finished off my card with a sentiment from My Favorite Things Every Flavor of Happy.

Thank you for having a peek at my blog!

Thanks a Planty...

Made a thank you card for a customer who ordered one of my premade for sale cards.  I've been trying to make an extra card or two when I'm creating and put them up for sale.  This was was for a male customer, it's always nice to have men support your crafty hobby!
Thanks a Planty...
I used Stampin' Up Cactus Cuties in Merry Merlot and Garden Green.  I ran the white layer through the die cut machine, using the Stitches A2 Rectangle die-namics.  Mounted it on a Polished Pink card based and finished it off with a sentiment from Banner Day Sentiments and Banner Flags.

Cup Full of Friendship...

A thank you card for my dear friend and partner in cycling, Linden.  She is always so kind and thoughtful.  I couldn't have asked for a better friend and am so happy to be leading rides with her every week!

When My Favorite Things came out with this little reindeer from Reindeer Love, I knew I had to have it!  They sold out of it pretty quickly so it took me a while to get my hands on it.  I also had to have the Coffee Mug die...oh my heck, do my friends drink A LOT of coffee and/or tea!!!  Cyclists just LOVE their coffee and tea!  Coffee/tea and Cycling is LIFE!  Anyhow, I kept this pretty clean and simple as I wanted the Coffee Mug and the Reindeer to be the main focal point.  I stamped my reindeer on Neenah with Memento ink, coloring with Copics, then mounting it with pop dots on the  black Coffee Mug die.  I went around the edges of the Coffee Mug with White ink.  I stamped the Stackable Snowflake Background stamp in white on Crumb Cake then die cut the panel with Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX die, both from My Favorite Things.  I mounted the layer on Black, then on a Real Red card base.  I finished off the card with stamping the sentiment from MFT Itty Bitty Thanks, some white Stackable Snowflake from MFT, black rhinestones and baubles.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy 70th Birthday Warwick!!!

A belated 70th birthday card for my cycling buddy, Warwick.  He was mine and Linden's lone cyclist on our first group ride we lead for Tim with Cyclefit Solutions.  He's been our greatest supporter this last year and a half and has been the best cheerleader, encourager, and motivator while riding.  So thankful to have met him and have him in my circle!
Happy 70th Birthday Warwick!!!
I took inspiration for my card from our cycling kit.  I used Black, Smokey Slate, Ballet Blue, and Bike Life by Reminisce.  Impact number die-namics with Ballet Blue, mounted on a Smokey Slate oval, then layered on a black scalloped oval.  I then mounted it on pop dots.  Sentiment is from Woodware Craft Collections.

Me and Warwick.

TTG Thank You Cards...

Card Order for the Tucson Tri Girls.  I was asked to make thank you cards for the Tucson Tri Girls Sponsors that resemble their 20th Year Cycling Kit.  This is what I came up with..
TTG Thank You Cards...
I used my new cacti stencil on Gorgeous Grape with Gorgeous Grape ink  I layered it on a white, then mounted it on a black card base.  I cut little strips of black cardstock (the hardest part of the whole card, lol) and applied them to the white layer.  Next I stamped my custom made Tucson Tri Girl stamp in Gorgeous Grapeand die cut it with a circle die and mounted it with a black circle.  Then I mounted it on pop dots.
How'd I do?
I also made a thank you card for the order.

A Planter of Birthday Wishes...

For my bestie for her birthday.  Her birthday is the beginning of December, but her and her hubby were on a cruise.  So, we postponed her birthday celebrations until Christmas.  Then hubs and I came down with Covid on Christmas Eve, so we didn't get to celebrate her birthday (and Christmas) until mid January!  I even kept up the Christmas decorations so we were still in the holiday spirit.
A Planter of Birthday Wishes...
I found this owl planter at Hobby Lobby and thought it was really cute.  Then went online and found this cute owl planter stamp from Woodware Craft Collection.  I stamped my image in Memento on Neenah cardstock, coloring with Copics.  I tried to color it to match the actual planter itself.  I used Bermuda Bay and Crumb Cake cardstock run trough a cuttlebug folder.
