Happy Graduation James...

For my friends son for his graduation.
Happy Graduation James...

I'm slowly getting caught up on all my blogging and posting.  Seems like I go in spurts.  I'm still trying to figure out the best way for me to take pictures, edit them and upload.  I'm not the greatest photographer when I comes to taking pictures of my cards and would really like to improve in that department.  Anyhow, I used a long time ago retired stamp set from Stampin' Up to create this card.  Keeping with his school colors, black and red.  Quick, clean, and simple.

Happy Birthday Sid...

For my besties step dad for his birthday.  He loves guitars so I try to make him a birthday card with one each year.
Happy Birthday Sid...

I found an old Stampin' Up wheel that I thought would be fun to use for his card.  I used markers on the wheel since I wanted a multi color look to the background and didn't have any cartridges that were two toned.  I stamped the guitar from an old Stampendous set I had and fussy cut it out.  Sentiment is from My Favorite Things Itty Bitty Birthday.  I mounted my layer on Bermuda Bay, then a white base layer.

You Color Me Happy Jennifer...

A thank you for a dear friend of mine who sent me a care package when I was having an Ehlers Danlos Syndrome flare up.  I swear I have the sweetest friends ever!!!
You Color Me Happy Jennifer...
I used Color Blast and Stitched Cloud Edges die-namics.  Sentiment from the My Favorite Things Good Vibes Only stamp set.

You Color Me Happy Jennifer...
She definitely knows how to make me laugh and cry!

Zebra Strong...

I received the most amazing RAK in the mail...a Zebra T-Shirt done in orange (my favorite color).  For those that don't know, I have a rare genetic connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (Classical/Hypermoble Type).  Basically I have a faulty collagen system.  The mascot for EDS is the Zebra, so an awesome friend of mine had this shirt made for me (in my favorite color) and sent it to me.  Talk about bringing me to tears upon opening it!
Zebra Strong...
I stamped my zebra in Memento ink, then used blending brushes to color it.  I fussy cut it and mounted it on a white base layer that was run through a cuttlebug folder.  I made a black circle frame using two circles run through the die cutter.  Added the sentiment from My Favorite Things Big Greetings set.

Zebra Strong...
My awesome shirt!!!

Thank you for having a look!

Drink up the Sunshine Michele...

For a wonderful gym buddy and friend for her birthday.
Drink up the Sunshine Michele...

I just love this little gal from My Favorite Things Drink up the Sunshine set.  I stamped her in Memento Ink, coloring her with Copics, then using the coordinating die-namics to die cut her.  I then used the Beach Scene Builder die-namics to create the ocean with Tempting Turquoise and Bermuda Bay ink

Keep on Climbin' Kathryn...

For an incredibly amazing woman, Kathryn.  She set out to climb Denali just after her birthday.  Her story is fascinating and I'm so proud of all the things she's done for women's equality.  If you haven't had the opportunity to read her book (STAND), I highly suggest it!
Keep on Climbin' Kathryn...
I used Stampin' Up Snowfront and Morning Meadow stamp sets.  Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Pistachio Pudding, Balmy Blue, and Pool Party inks.  Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake, and White card stock.

 Kathryn and Me.

Have a great rest of your Saturday!
