Happy Birthday David!!!

For a friend and one of our Tuesday Riders, David for his birthday.  David was showing me the artwork in his home and said a lot of my cycling/southwest cards would fit into the theme/colors of his home.  I ended up taking a picture of one of his pieces and tried my best to put it into card form with the dies I had and changed the car to a bike of course!
Happy Birthday David!!!
I used Crushed Curry and More Mustard for the sky.  Die cut Impression Obsession Desert Scene in Copper Clay, then inked some details on it with Copper Clay ink.  I die cut My Favorite Things Fast Track in Copper Clay in the middle of the mountain range.  I die cut the Saguaro border in black, only using a couple of the bigger ones to mimic the art piece.  I tore a piece of black card stock to add to the corner.  Then I die cut the My Favorite Things Flat Bottom Clouds and Bike from Balmy Blue and sponged them with Azure Afternoon.  I added my panel to a black card stock base, then added a black frame from My Favorite Things.

Happy Birthday David!!!

I Donut Know How To Thank You...

A thank you for Kathleen for the super cute donut earrings she got me (and Linden) for the Cyclefit Friday Donut Ride.  Linden and I always match what we wear every time we ride and rather than have different colored donut earrings, Linden suggested we have one of each so we'll still match.  So kind of Kathleen to think of us!
