Thank You Friends...

Thank you cards for two very special people who are dear to my heart.

I used Honey Bee Maple leaf, blended with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, and Old Olive inks.  I overlaid the leaf with Honey Bee Maple Leaf in Pecan Pie.  My sentiment is from the My Favorite Things Something For Everyone Stamp Set.

Thanks for having a look at my blog!

Order Up...

One of my friends and cycling buddies looked through my card gallery and ordered a card for her friend.  This stencil set from Hero Arts is my all time favorite!

I used the Hero Arts August 2022 Card Kit of the Month Stencil.  Hero Arts Caramel, Sand, Pine, and Tangerine Inks.  Stampin' Up YoYoYellow and Lemon Line Twist Inks.  A bike die cut in blue topped with paper glaze to give it a nice glossy finish.

Adventure Awaits...

For our Cyclefit Tuesday Rider, Lou who was making his new home a boat.  We had a nice little going away to celebrate his big move.
Adventure Awaits...
I unfortunately made this at the last minute and didn't have time to make a new card when my gel paint applicator fell on the card...I tried my best to blend it in and make it look like I meant for it to look like that, ha!  I love how the background on this turned out (minus the white gel paint splat!).  I started off using the My Favorite Things Watercolor Rectangle Stencil with Tempting Turquoise, Azure Afternoon, Pacific Point, YoYo Yellow, Daffodil Delight, Only Orange, and Pumpkin Pie inks.  I added Frantic Stamper Lighthouse and Boats and My Favorite Things Shady Palms die-namics (birds) in white.  Then added the white gel pen highlights.  My sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Hope you have a great week!

Honoring Warwick...

For our wonderful Warwick...I made this for our Tuesday Cyclefit Riders to sign to celebrate Warwick's last radiation treatment.  We all wore blue and surprised him at the morning ride.  He went through weeks and weeks of radiation with no complaints, always so thankful to be on his bike.  Warwick was our very first rider when Linden and I started co-leading the Tuesday Cyclefit Ride.  He holds a very special place in our hearts.

Happy Birthday Ryan...

For the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen Design Team Challenge, Deja Hue...a play on words with Deja Vu: the illusion of remembering scene ad events when experienced for the first time.  Instead of scenes and events, remember colors (hues!)  Ideas were- to be inspired by a SCS Color Combination Challenge.  Make a new card inspired by the colors of an older card in your gallery.  Make a project using a color combination that has meaning in your life- a wedding, schools colors, favorite sports team etc.  Try any coloring tutorial.  Part of our challenge is to pick our favorite out of the 6 cards we make for each monthly challenge.  This was my favorite of the bunch.
Happy Birthday Ryan...
I just love this new to me die from Spellbinders!!!  I'm always hunting for Southwest'ish sunsets, mountains, and view stamps and dies.  This one is absolutely perfect for AZ!  I used this month's inspiration photo as my color inspiration.  Instead of using all 3 mugs in the photo as a whole inspiration piece, I used the one mug on the left side.  I added my little green saguaro for a pop of color.  This one was for my best friends step dad for his birthday.

Supplies I used were-
My Favorite Things Itty Bitty Birthday.
Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Granny Apple Green card stock.
Coastal Cabana, Tempting Turquoise, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Peacan Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie inks.
Spellbinders Colorblock Landscape die, MFT Fishtail Foundation Die-namics, and white opaque gel.

Thanks so much for having a look at my blog.
