Happy Birthday Sacha...

For a sweet lady for her birthday!!!
Happy Birthday Sacha...

When I saw this Simply Succulents set from Stampin' Up, I knew I had to have it.  I just love succulents!  I purchased the bundle which came with coordinating dies.  I just love the overlay, it add so much texture to the card.  Anyhow, the supplies I used are- Stampin' Up Simply Succulents Stamp Set and Bundle, Oval die cut, Itty Bitty Birthday and Itty Birthday Strips die-namics from My Favorite Things.  Colored the image with copics, layered it with pop dots and embellished with iridescent bubbles.

Thanks for having a look!

Happy Birthday Jennifer!!!

For my friend Jennifer for her birthday.  I was blessed to be able to spend the morning with her on a bike ride then have a post ride breakfast with her as well.  Jennifer and I don't get to see each other that often, darn that thing called work!  But it's always a great time when we do get together.  In May we signed up to do the Mt. Lemmon Hill Climb!  Looking forward to spending the day climbing the mountain with her!!!

Happy Birthday Jennifer!!!
This is one of the images I purchased from Emily from Sixth Street Sundries last year.  I just love these images, they are so beautiful  This is only the second one I've colored up, I just don't want to part with them, lol!  I used my copics to color it, mounting it on a Magenta Madness card base.  Sentiment is from My Favorite Things Itty Bitty Birthday and Itty Bitty Strips die-namis.

Happy Birthday Alan!!!

For one of my cycling friends, Alan for his birthday.
Happy Birthday Alan!!!
Alan did 73 miles for his 73rd birthday!!!  I hope to be doing those miles when I'm that age!  I kept his card CAS as I was trying to make his bike the main focus of the card, but unfortunately it didn't come across in the photo.  His bike is a beautiful blue to black ombre but it just looks black in the picture, haha!  Anyhow, the supplies I used were- Stamps By Impression bicycle, Stampin' Up sentiment, My Favorite Things Snow Drifts Die-namics, SU Markers, and a White Gel Pen.
Singing Happy Birthday to Alan at our midway stop.

Happy 80th Birthday Michael!!!

I've been attending a ride with Elite/Pro Cyclists from the Homestretch Foundation on Friday mornings for the last few years and have met some amazing people through that ride.  Some being the Elite/Pro Athletes themselves and some being the other riders that join the ride.  Michael is one of those amazing people I've met on the ride.  He turned 80 and for his birthday he wanted to cycle up Mt. Lemmon.  Mt. Lemmon is a very well known climb in the cycling world and one of the top difficult climbs to do.  Michael had lots of friends come in from out of town, many locals, and the Pro's from the Homestretch Foundation join him for his birthday climb.  Unfortunately I wasn't feeling up to doing the climb, but I was there for the ride the day before to give him his card and wish him a happy birthday!
Happy 80th Birthday Michael!!!
The colors for the Homestretch Foundation are Black and White, so I wanted to keep my colors for his card black and white to represent the great foundation we ride with and support.  I used My Favorite Things Distressed Patterns and Stampin' Up Morning Meadow stamps.  My Favorite Things Wonkly Stitch Rectangle Stax, and Impact Numbers die-namics.  Bike die-cut, stickles, and a glaze pen.

A Note of Thanks...

I was so excited to get my news stamps and dies from Stampin' Up!!!  I immediately opened this set up so I could make a thank you card for Tim and Kathleen for organizing the Cyclefit picnic.  I used Stampin' Up Cactus Cuties and My Favorite Things Thick and Thin background stamps.  Crumb Cake, Shaded Spruce, Calypso Coral, and White card stock as well as inks.

Have an Epic Birthday...

For my son in law who loves to game for his birthday...
Have an Epic Birthday...

My son in law loves to game and also likes the color red so I made a card to reflect that.  I used My Favorite Things Game Controller die-namics in Smokey Slate, Brilliant Blue, Granny Apple Green, Real Red, and Yoyo Yellow, using a gel pen on the control buttons.  Mounted it on a white layer that was die cut with the A2 Stitch Rectangle die-namics.  Mounted it on a Real Red card base and stamped the sentiment from the coordinating Level Up stamp set.
