Thank You Debbie...

Happy New Year!  I'm slowly trying to get caught up with my card posting.  I made this for my massage therapist.  Debbie knows that me and my co-ride leader, Linden have matching bikes and that we wear matching kits every time we ride together.  She was so kind to make us matching bike earrings.  She wanted to thank us for what we do for our cycling community.  Such a kind and thoughtful gift!!!
Thank You Debbie...
The supplies I used were-

My Favorite Things Itty Bitty Thanks Stamp Set.

White, Gable Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Shaded Spruce card stock.

My Favorite Things Rectangle and Mod Stax.  Itty Bitty Strips die-namics and bike die.

Thank You Debbie...
So sweet and thoughtful!

Thank You Debbie...
Modeling our earrings that just happened to match our kits the day Debbie stopped by!

Thanks for having a look at my blog!

Happy Birthday Frank...

For one of our Cyclefit Tuesday Riders, Frank for his birthday.  Frank is one of the kindest men you'll ever meet.  Whenever I'm out riding by myself and Frank sees me, he'll will turn around and ride with me to my front door...always making sure I make it home safely.  Frank has really gotten into gravel riding/racing this year.  I wanted to make a card that reflected that.
Happy Birthday Frank...
I created the sunset with Crisp Cantaloupe, Apricot Appeal, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Poppy Parade, Real Red, Berry Burst, and Concord Crush inks.  Then I added the Impression Obsession Desert Scene with a Lawn Fawn Road Border and a Texture Paste on top, using Dusty Durango, Really Rust, Baked Brown Sugar, Close to Cocoa, and Soft Suede inks.  I added the bike using Sahara Sand cards stock and finished of the card with a Cherry Cobbler card base.
My card inspiration.

Thank you for stopping by.

Happy Birthday David!!!

For a friend and one of our Tuesday Riders, David for his birthday.  David was showing me the artwork in his home and said a lot of my cycling/southwest cards would fit into the theme/colors of his home.  I ended up taking a picture of one of his pieces and tried my best to put it into card form with the dies I had and changed the car to a bike of course!
Happy Birthday David!!!
I used Crushed Curry and More Mustard for the sky.  Die cut Impression Obsession Desert Scene in Copper Clay, then inked some details on it with Copper Clay ink.  I die cut My Favorite Things Fast Track in Copper Clay in the middle of the mountain range.  I die cut the Saguaro border in black, only using a couple of the bigger ones to mimic the art piece.  I tore a piece of black card stock to add to the corner.  Then I die cut the My Favorite Things Flat Bottom Clouds and Bike from Balmy Blue and sponged them with Azure Afternoon.  I added my panel to a black card stock base, then added a black frame from My Favorite Things.

Happy Birthday David!!!
The birthday boy and Larry.

Happy Birthday Terri...

I am FINALLY caught up with my blogging for 2024, yay!!!  Now I'm only 7 months behind for 2025, ha!  This is for my dear friend Terri for her birthday.  This is the second card I made for her for her birthday, lucky her!
Happy Birthday Terri...
I kept this one CAS as her other one was a more detailed card I made for one of the challenges while I was a guest designer for the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen.  Hot Pink is Terri's favorite color as is the accents to her black gravel bike.  I used the cactus portion from the Hero Arts August 2022 Stencil Card Kit with Melon Mambo and Black ink.  Black, White, and Denami Design Hot Pink card stock.  Woodware Craft Collection On Your Bike and Itty Bitty Birthday stamp sets.

Thanks for having a look at my blog!

Happy Birthday Larry!!!

For my cycling buddy and Tuesday rider, Larry for his birthday.
Happy Birthday Larry!!!
My favorite cards to make, southwest scenery and cycling cards all in one!  Larry loved this card so much, he sent me a picture of where he keeps it in his office.  It makes my day to know that it's not only the women in my life that enjoy my cards, but also the men.  It also touches my heart to know that they keep my cards and/or have a special place for them.  Anyhow, I used the Hero Arts August 2022 Stencil Kit with Stampin' Up Real Red, Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Pecan Pie, Copper Clay, Black, Inks.  Hero Arts Pine, Caramel and Sand Inks.  Black Real Red, and White card stock.  Bike die and a glitter pen.

Happy Birthday Larry!!!

Thank you for having a look at my blog!

Happy Birthday Warwick...

For my dear friend Warwick for his birthday.  Warwick is one of the kindest, friendliest souls you'll ever meet.  I'm so thankful to have him in my life.  I always say everyone needs a Warwick in their life, he's pure sunshine!

Happy Birthday Warwick...
Living in Arizona and being a cyclist, it's a no brainer that creating southwestern and cycling cards are my favorite.  Combining the two, even better!  I used Impression Obsession Desert Scene Die, My Favorite Things Open Road die-namics, and a bike die.  Rose Red, Apricot, Crisp Canteloup, and Calypso Coral to create the sunset.  Paper glaze on the bike and wink of stella on the road and one of the mountains.

Happy Birthday Warwick...

GABA Toy Ride 2024...

Each year GABA hosts a Toy Ride for underprivileged children.  They have Toy Drives set up all around the community.  On the second Saturday of December several ride leaders will lead rides from various locations around town.  We encourage our riders to dress up and decorate their bikes.  With toys in tow, we all ride our bikes to a central meeting location where we drop off the toys and have refreshments.  I've done this ride many times as a participant, but decided to start leading a ride on my side of town with my co-ride leader.  This was our second leading the Toy Ride.  We had a great time!  To encourage our riders to be festive, we had a contest for most festively dressed and best decorated bike.  These are the cards I made with Starbucks gift cards inside.

Welcome to AZ...

I made these for the incoming Homestretch Foundation Cyclists (Stretchies).  The Homestretch Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides temporary housing and other resources to professional or elite athletes- primarily female athletes- who face financial and economic discrepancies.  Kathryn Bertine hand selects the athletes that will stay at the Homestretch.  The "Stretchies" come each year from December-May to train.  They are required to give back to their community and volunteer during their stay here.  One way that they interact with and get to know the community is with a weekly "Spin with the Stretchies" ride.  A relaxed recovery ride that is open to everyone.  We have age ranges from 11-80+ year old's!!!
Welcome to AZ...
I used-
Stamps- Hero Arts Heroscapes Winding Road.  Woodware Craft Collection On Your Bike.

Ink- Stampin' Up-Yo Yo Yellow, Real Red, Melon Mambo, Perfect Plumb, Elegant Eggplant, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Copper Clay, Gable Green.  Hero Art's- Sand, Caramel, Pine.  My Favorite Things- Black Licorice.  Versamark.

Happy 50th Emily!!!

My fourth entry for the Dirty Dozen Friends and Neighbors Challenge.  We were tasked with making cards depicting something we enjoy doing with friends. Make a card inspired by a friend, neighbor, or someone special in our life.  Make a house-shaped card or a house-warming gift.  One thing's for sure...I love cycling with my friends!  Post ride coffee (chai tea for me!) is second best!
Happy 50th Emily!!!
I made this for one of our Tuesday group riders.  Her bike is a beautiful minty green so I went with a color combination to compliment that.  I also used the Dirty Dozen Inspiration Sketch for my card.  I used Mint Melody for the Stampin' Up Fun on Wheel bike and the My Favorite Things Impact Numbers die-namics.  I added a Wink of Stella to the Bike and Numbers to give them a bit of shimmer.  I mounted both of them on white circles and added them to my Echo Park Everyday Eclectic paper.  I die cut My Favorite Things Coffee Break Companion in Polished Pink and a second time in Crumb Cake.  I stamped a heart from the Verve You and I stamp set using White Craft ink, then smudging it to try and make it look like a foamy milk heart.  I sponged the Crumb Cake edges using Pecan Pie.  I stamped My Favorite Things Itty Bitty Birthday then die cut it with My Favorite Things Essential Stitched Sentiment die-namics.  I mounted my panel on Crumb Cake then a Polished Pink card base.

Happy 50th Emily!!!

Happy Birthday Tim!!!

My first entry for the Dirty Dozen Friends and Neighbors Challenge.  We were tasked with making cards depicting something we enjoy doing with friends. Make a card inspired by a friend, neighbor, or someone special in our life.  Make a house-shaped card or a house-warming gift.  I (of course) love to ride bikes with my friends, it truly is my most favorite thing to do.  I made this for our local shop and club owner that I co-lead a weekly ride for.
Happy Birthday Tim!!!
I used Hero Arts Winding Road Stamp Set for the road, trees, birds, and sentiment.  Woodware Crat Collection On Your Bike for the bike.  The inks I used were-Gray Granite, So Saffron, Granny Apple Green, Shadded Spruce, Copper Clay, Really Rust, Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy, Versafine.  I mounted my panel on a Granny Apple Green card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
