Summer Jobs...

My 4th card for the Dirty Dozen Monthly Challenge, Summer Jobs.  I picked Camp Counselor for this one.  I remember camping a lot as a kid.  The best times were with the girl scouts and 6th grade camp.  I loved being by the fire at night singing camp fire songs, roasting marshmallows, and telling scary stories.
I used S'mores Riley and Tent Riley.  My favorite Things Bear Hug Bunch for the tree stumps.  I took a circle die and cut out a mask for the moon using Removable ID Labels.  Then I colored the scene using copic markers.  I mounted my panel on a YoYo Yellow card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy 4th Birthday Tanner!!!

Happy 4th birthday to our youngest grandson, Tanner!  This year we were able to be in Idaho to celebrate his birthday with him.  He's been in speech therapy and is talking so much now.  Tanner's a ball of energy and has quite the personality.  We sure enjoyed our visit with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandboys.
Tanner had a "theme" of presents this year from us...fishing and camping related.  I had some Riley stamps I was trying to decide upon when I came across this card on Splitcoaststampers.  I knew I had to try to recreate the card.  Niki gives step by step instructions on how to create the card on her blog.  I tried my best, but her creation is simply beautiful.  I used Pacific Point, Poppy Parade and Soft Suede cardstock, red ribbon, hodgepodge hardware, and followed Niki's tutorial for my image panel.

Happy 4th birthday Tanner!

Camping in Red Rock Canyon...

I made this for my friends, Jackie and Eric to thank them for inviting me to camp with them in Red Rock Canyon, NV.  While Eric was working, Jackie and I were out cycling in Red Rock Canyon.  It was absolutely breathtaking!

I fell in love with this card and wanted to CASE it, keeping it very CAS.  I stamped Tent Riley from Riley and Company on Neenah with Memento ink then colored it with Copics.  I outlined the tent with Stickles.  Garden Green, Crumb Cake and EP This & That paper.  I used MFT Flat Bottom Cloud Die-namics, then covered them with stickles and put them on pop dots.

Here's a few pictures from our trip-

Entrance to Red Rock Canyon.

The road was a cyclists dream!  Nice and wide and so smooth!

View from our campsite.  Simply stunning!

The climb out of our campsite.  The little peak of white is a huge snowy mountain!

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a fabulous Weekend!
