Caught in the Moonlight...

Yay...finally...I'm caught up!  This is the last card to catch me up to 2014.  I didn't craft or blog for a year so I only have a handful of cards for 2014, but I'm glad to have finally got all of 2013's cards done, yay!!!  Anyhow, this was made for a friend of mine who ordered some cards from me.

Caught in the Moonlight...
I of course drew inspiration from Michelle Zindorf, the queen of brayering!  I used Night of Navy, Marina Mist, Tempting Turquoise and Black ink.  SU's Nature Silhouette stamp set, Black and Marina Mist card stock, and brads.

Have a wonderful day!

Birthday in Paradise...

Yikes...it's been over a month since I last blogged.  Life has been crazy busy for me the last several weeks.  Unfortunately for me when life gets busy, my crafting gets put on the back burner.  Hopefully it won't take me long to get back into the swing of things=)

I was inspired by Michelle Zindor's card and wanted to give her tutorial a try.  I made this for my father-in-law for his birthday (which was in July).  I used SU Whisper White, Baja Breeze and Black Cardstock.  More Mustard, Tangerine Tango, Cajun Craze, and Black ink.  SU Plant Hope, SU White Gel Pen, and Post-it notes.

Thank-you for stopping by!!!

Michelle Zindorf's visit to Tucson...

This is going to be a picture packed post.  I'm finally getting around to posting pictures from Michelle Zindorf's trip to Tucson.  I made her this card to thank her for coming...put what I learned in class to paper=)
I used a stamp from Viva Las Vegas Stamps, post it notes, ink, (So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze for the sky and Chocolate Chip and Basic Black for the ground) a gel pen and a brayer to make her card.  It actually came together quickly=)
Below are some pictures from Michelle's first day here.  I took her to Saguaro National Park East.  It's an 8 mile drive through loop.  You can get out and snap pictures.  Here are some of my favorites...

Here's a few pictures from the brayering classes she taught over last weekend.  I didn't get my camera out during every class (sorry ladies!).  I wanted to thank all the ladies that came to the classes.  I hope you enjoyed them and thank-you for putting up with my barking chihuahua's=(  Thank-you for coming Michelle, sorry you had such a long trip back to Ohio!

Thank-you so much for stopping by.  I hope everyone is starting to warm up in their part of the U.S.

Welcome to Tucson Zindorf!

Michelle Zindorf is in Tucson this weekend teaching her brayering class at my house=)  She asked if I'd hold up a sign that said "Zindorf" so she could find me more easily at the airport.  So, I made this sign to hold when she flies in...I hope I did her proud, lol.  I am embarrassed to say I took Michelle's classes in Phoenix last year and have only brayered once since the class.  Let's see if my skills improved any or will I hear her say, "you gotta get it on the paper Tanya" haha!  I'm also embarrassed to say that I used my cricut for the first time making her sign...I've only had it for 2 years, lol.
Have a fabulous weekend...I know I'm going to=)
