Happy Bloomin' Birthday...

I made this for my teammate Jessica who's birthday is next week.  I originally had a cycling theme in mind but when I asked her what her favorite color is she said green, like Saguaro Green.  So with that,..I had to make her a Saguaro card instead!

I played along in this weeks Splitcoaststampers FS628 Challenge.  The rules are to go through the Featured Stampers gallery, pick a card, and change at least 2 things.  I changed the images, color scheme, and added a button.  I used Wild Wasabi, Basic Gey Origins, Crumb Cake and Neenah Paper.  I stamped the Saguaro and pot from MFT Sweet Succulents set.  I fussy cut the pot and put it on pot dots for dimension.  I used the SU square punch to make the tag.  Baker's twine and a button.

My Featured Stampers inspiration card.

Ride On, Happy Birthday Anna!!!

For a sweet dear friend of mine, Anna, who's birthday is today.  Happy Birthday Anna!!!  Anna is an awesome cyclist who is on the podium every time she goes out to a race!!!  You are simply amazing Anna!!!  I'm so proud of your hard work and determination...you are crushing it this year, keep it up girlfriend!!!
I used Neenah as my base layer and stamped the bicycle from Hero Arts in Real Red on it.  For the second layer, I ran it  through the cuttlebug with a cuttlebug folder and cut a circle out.  I used the sentiment from The Cats Pajamas.  SU Square Punch to make the tag.  Topped it off with a button and some Baker's Twine.

Hope you've had a wonderful day Anna!

Creating a Vision...

The owners of the gym I go to had a Vision Board night for those of us in their Advocare downline.  I've never done a Vision Board before but have always wanted to.  We had such a great time!  I made them a card to thank them for such a fun evening.

I used Bermuda Bay and Echo Park Happy Together paper.  I stamped Pure Innocence Picture Perfect from My Favorite Things in Memento on Neenah, coloing with Copics then fussy cutting her out and using Popdots for dimension.  The sentiment is from the Pure Innocence Soldier Boy Set from My Favorite Things.  I used SC736 for my layout.

Camping in Red Rock Canyon...

I made this for my friends, Jackie and Eric to thank them for inviting me to camp with them in Red Rock Canyon, NV.  While Eric was working, Jackie and I were out cycling in Red Rock Canyon.  It was absolutely breathtaking!

I fell in love with this card and wanted to CASE it, keeping it very CAS.  I stamped Tent Riley from Riley and Company on Neenah with Memento ink then colored it with Copics.  I outlined the tent with Stickles.  Garden Green, Crumb Cake and EP This & That paper.  I used MFT Flat Bottom Cloud Die-namics, then covered them with stickles and put them on pop dots.

Here's a few pictures from our trip-
Me and Jackie getting ready to ride the 13 mile loop and Red Rock Canyon.

Entrance to Red Rock Canyon.

The road was a cyclists dream!  Nice and wide and so smooth!

View from our campsite.  Simply stunning!

The climb out of our campsite.  The little peak of white is a huge snowy mountain!

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a fabulous Weekend!
