Happy Birthday Son...

Oh my goodness, I'm officially a year behind with uploading/blogging my cards...eeek!  I made this for my good friend and cycling buddy, Son for his birthday last year.  His upcoming birthday is Saturday, ha!  I'm determined to get caught up one day!

I used Spellbinders Landscape Colorblock die, My Favorite Things Fishtail Foundation die, and Stampin' Up Morning Meadow Stamp Set.  Crumb Cake, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, Soft Suede, Tango Tangerine, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, and Summer Sun Card Stock.

Happy Birthday Patrick...

I'm so behind in posting.  I'm still working on sharing my 2025 cards.  Anyhow, I made this for my dear friend Linden's boyfriend (at the time, now fiance!) for his birthday.

The inspiration for my card came from a picture I saw online.  I couldn't quite get the sky just right.  I had fun making it and trying new techniques.  I used Impression Obsession Desert Scene die, My Favorite Things Fishtail Foundation die-namics, Circle Punch.  Stampin' Up Morning Meadow Stamp Set.  Peacan Pie, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Lost Lagoon, and Opaque White Inks.

Happy 80th Gary!!!

Happy Friday!!!  This is for a dear friend of mine, Gary for his 80th birthday.  I had the pleasure of meeting Gary during the pandemic while I was co-leading rides on Zwift.  What I didn't know at that time was Gary had cancer and was undergoing chemo.  He later told us that our weekly ride was the highlight of his day and that it kept him going during the difficult times of his treatment.   

I CASE'd this card from Becca (who also CASE'd it from someone else, tee-hee).  I absolutely loved the design of her card, I changed out a few elements, added some others and changed the color scheme.  I used My Favorite Things Distressed Patterns Stamp Set in Black and Blueberry Bushel.  My Favorite Things Die-namics Wonky Stitch, Circle, Happy Birthday Frame, Impact Numbers, Be Happy, Happy Birthday, Stitched Star Stax and Star Stax with Black, White, and Blueberry Bushel card stock.

Thank You Debbie...

Happy New Year!  I'm slowly trying to get caught up with my card posting.  I made this for my massage therapist.  Debbie knows that me and my co-ride leader, Linden have matching bikes and that we wear matching kits every time we ride together.  She was so kind to make us matching bike earrings.  She wanted to thank us for what we do for our cycling community.  Such a kind and thoughtful gift!!!  

The supplies I used were-

My Favorite Things Itty Bitty Thanks Stamp Set.

White, Gable Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Shaded Spruce card stock.

My Favorite Things Rectangle and Mod Stax.  Itty Bitty Strips die-namics and bike die.

Happy Birthday Frank...

For one of our Cyclefit Tuesday Riders, Frank for his birthday.  Frank is one of the kindest men you'll ever meet.  Whenever I'm out riding by myself and Frank sees me, he'll will turn around and ride with me to my front door...always making sure I make it home safely.  Frank has really gotten into gravel riding/racing this year.  I wanted to make a card that reflected that.

I created the sunset with Crisp Cantaloupe, Apricot Appeal, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Poppy Parade, Real Red, Berry Burst, and Concord Crush inks.  Then I added the Impression Obsession Desert Scene with a Lawn Fawn Road Border and a Texture Paste on top, using Dusty Durango, Really Rust, Baked Brown Sugar, Close to Cocoa, and Soft Suede inks.  I added the bike using Sahara Sand cards stock and finished of the card with a Cherry Cobbler card base.
