Happy Birthday Connor!!!

For the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen Design Team Challenge, Deja Hue...a play on words with Deja Vu: the illusion of remembering scene ad events when experienced for the first time.  Instead of scenes and events, remember colors (hues!)  Ideas were- to be inspired by a SCS Color Combination Challenge.  Make a new card inspired by the colors of an older card in your gallery.  Make a project using a color combination that has meaning in your life- a wedding, schools colors, favorite sports team etc.  Try any coloring tutorial.

This is for my middle grandson's birthday.  I used DDSKETCH0924 for my card, flipping it 90 degrees.  His favorite football team is the Eagles.  I used this card in my gallery for my color inspiration.

Supplies I used were-

My Favorite Things All Star High Top Die-namics and MFT High Top Sentiments.
Pretty Peacock, Smoky Slate, Black and White card stock, Baker's Twine.

       

It warms my heart that my grandboys still love getting my cards.

Happy Birthday Caroline!!!

This is my last month as a guest designer for the Dirty Dozen Design Team.  Where have the last 6 months gone?  This is my 5th entry for November's theme, Into The Woods.  Our challenge was to create cards with woodland animals, gnomes, mushrooms, ferns, cabins, fairies and other forest themes.  Or create cards with faux wood finishes, or use images with wooden or branch parts (like branches for snowmen).  This is for my friend and fellow cyclist, Caroline for her birthday. 

I just love this gnome from Simon Says Stamps.  It's so adorable!  I used the DDSKETCH1124 for my card.  I flipped the sketch upside down then change it's orientation from horizontal to vertical.  The products I used for this card are-
Paper- My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose, Vanilla, Petal Pink, Soft Seafoam, Old Olive, Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock.
Stamp-  MFT Itty Bitty Birthday.
Accessories- Simon Says Stamps Lil' Gnome, MFT Fab Foliage, MFT Essential Stitched Sentiment, The Paper Studio Dots.
