Dr. Thank-you...

A friend of mine wanted to send a Dr.'s Office that he services a Thank-you Card for their business.  So I made this card for him.  This is for Bellarific Friday Challenge over at Stamping Bella.  The Challenge was a sketch challenge.  I used What'supdocafella, stamping him in Momento Ink on Neenah Cardstock.  I  colored him in with Copics, sponging Versamagic Wheat around him.  Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, BG Origins, and Wild Wasabi Paper.  SU Ribbon and Linen Thread.  Denami Design Button.  Misc Brads.  Sentiment is from SU Noteworthy.
I hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend.  It's going to be a busy one for us.  Birthday party then work for me on Saturday.  Cleaning, Crafting, and Catching up on my DVR shows Sunday=)

For My Daughter...

Starbucks had the cutest gift cards for Valentine's Day.  I loved this one and thought, hmmm... I can make that into a card.  So, my inspiration came from a giftcard for my daughter=)  My card was super quick and super simple.  I've had SU's On Board Hearts & Stars for years and never used until I made this card...I don't know why I was hoarding it!  lol.  Anyhow, I stamped the heart in red ink then heat set it with an embossing gun.  The sentiment is from Stamping Bella.
Thank-you for stopping by.  Enjoy the rest of your day!

Pink Penguins

I made this for one of my co-workers who recently had a baby and just came back to work.  I haven't gotten to see the precious bundle of joy yet, but I'm sure she is beautiful just like her mommy.
I used SFYTT sketch for February.  Denami Design Product Challenge #6 is Twine so I thought I'd give it a try.  I have to say, I kinda like it.  All the stamps I used are from Denami Design.  I stamped the Penguin (without balloon) with Momento Ink on SU's Very Vanilla Cardstock, coloring "her" in with Copics.  I filled in her belly with some pink Stickles, going over the other parts with Crystal Lacquer.  I used the Double Cirle, stamping it in Red and went inbetween the two lines with some Smooch.  I used the Medium Dot Circle Frame, stamping it in Pink and dotting over it with Stickles.  Bermuda Bay, Blushing Bride, and My Mind's Eye Alphabet Soup Papers.  The Ribbon is from Denami Design and the Twine is from The Twinery.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's Day yesterday.  Have a fabulous day!

Hot Air Balloon Lady Bug Lovin' Lady...

Well not really, lol.  I had a request to make a card for my friends (Wendy) Grandma who's birthday is on Valentine's Day.  The card had to have a Hot Air Balloon- check.  A Lady Bug- hmmm, how about some BG Lemonade Paper?  And an Old Lady wearing a Purple Dress and a Red Hat- well, no check on the "old lady" part, but I did have Francesca from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  As I sat on the computer instant messaging with Wendy, getting each detail one by one I was thinking hmm, what am I going to do for this card?  By the time I got all the "must have's" for the card, I knew exactly what I was going to do.  Wendy was pleased with how it turned out and I hope her grandmother is as well.  Wendy said her grandmother makes cards too and all the cards her grandmother sends her have a hidden lady bug somewhere on the card.  I kind of like how there's "hidden" lady bugs on the hot air ballons=)
Anyhow, I stamped Francesca on Neenah cardstock with Momento ink, coloring her with Copic Markers.  I added a glitter pen to the frosting on the cupcakes and a glaze pen to the candles.  SU Rhinestones and Punch.   Denami Design Ribbon and the Hot Air Ballon is from Verve Stamps.
Thank-you for stopping by.  Have a fabulous week!

Happy Birthday Wylie!!!

Today is my oldest grandson's 2nd birthday.  I can't believe he's 2 already!  Wylie's room is done in John Deere Tractor's so I wanted to make him a card with a tractor on it=)  Tho this isn't John Deere colors, I fell in love with the paper and wanted to make it somewhat of a focal point on my card.  I used my Cricut to cut out the 2 and stamped the little Barnyard Chickie's from Denami Design on either side.  Very simple card and very little stamping here, lol.
Below is a picture of Wylie.  He was hanging out with me last night while I made his card.  He loves coming in here to visit me while I'm making cards, especially if I put Dora on Netflix for him=)
Thank-you for stopping by, have a wonderful day!                              Happy Birthday Wylie...Mommom and Poppa love you!

Don't sweat getting older...

For my co-worker Kiera who's birthday is today.  Happy Birthday Kiera!  Kiera's into fitness so I thought Barbella from Stamping Bella would be a perfect image to use for her card.  I stamped my image with Momento ink on Papertrey Paper, (thanks Kiera!) coloring her ink with Copic Markers.  I added a glaze pen to the dumbbells.  I lightly sponged around my image with Versamagic Sea Breeze and Wheat Chalk Inks.  I also add Wheat to the edges of my DSP.  The Sentiment is from Hambo Stamps.  I started out using Card Patterns Sketch 100...I ended up flipping it, skooching it off to one side and adding a sentiment panel.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

Michelle Zindorf's visit to Tucson...

This is going to be a picture packed post.  I'm finally getting around to posting pictures from Michelle Zindorf's trip to Tucson.  I made her this card to thank her for coming...put what I learned in class to paper=)
I used a stamp from Viva Las Vegas Stamps, post it notes, ink, (So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze for the sky and Chocolate Chip and Basic Black for the ground) a gel pen and a brayer to make her card.  It actually came together quickly=)
Below are some pictures from Michelle's first day here.  I took her to Saguaro National Park East.  It's an 8 mile drive through loop.  You can get out and snap pictures.  Here are some of my favorites...

Here's a few pictures from the brayering classes she taught over last weekend.  I didn't get my camera out during every class (sorry ladies!).  I wanted to thank all the ladies that came to the classes.  I hope you enjoyed them and thank-you for putting up with my barking chihuahua's=(  Thank-you for coming Michelle, sorry you had such a long trip back to Ohio!

Thank-you so much for stopping by.  I hope everyone is starting to warm up in their part of the U.S.
